## OpenTelemetry
promises now integrates with the otel package to provide observability
and tracing for asynchronous operations.
* `local_otel_promise_domain()` adds an OpenTelemetry span promise
domain to the local scope. This is useful for `{coro}` operations
where encapsulating the coro operations inside `with_*()` methods is
not allowed. (#179)
* `with_otel_promise_domain()` creates a promise domain that restores
the currently active OpenTelemetry span from when a call to `then()`
is executed. This enables proper tracing context across asynchronous
operations. (#173)

observability. OpenTelemetry is a collection of tools, APIs, and SDKs
used to instrument, generate, collect, and export telemetry data
(metrics, logs, and traces) for analysis in order to understand your
software's performance and behavior. This package implements the
OpenTelemetry API: <https://opentelemetry.io/docs/specs/otel/>. Use
this package as a dependency if you want to instrument your R package
for OpenTelemetry.

Clang-Tidy suggest moving these classes into the anonymous namespace,
to enforce internal linkage.

Having access to RTTI style casting lets us use slightly nicer
structures to clean up the overly complicated dispatch logic in merging
and other places.
mailsend-go: update to 1.0.12
* Add STARTTLS downgrade protection. A MITM attacker can strip STARTTLS
from the server's EHLO response, causing the client to send credentials in
plaintext. The bug is not in mailsend-go itself, rather it is in the
gomail.v2. The fix is in my fork of gomail via the new RequireSTARTTLS
field on the Dialer. mailsend-go sets it when credentials are provided and
SSL is not in use, so the connection returns an error instead of falling
back to plaintext.
* Remove unconditional debug print that leaked SMTP password to stdout.
* A warning is now printed to stderr when TLS certificate verification is
disabled. Use -verifyCert if desired.
