This is the initial straight rename commit. It will probably break the
docs build, but it has to be a separate PR for blame preservation
purposes.
[docs] Convert remaining CommandGuide docs to Markdown (#220097)
These are the remaining .rst CommandGuide files after #219625. I locally
rendered some man pages to ensure the groff output was OK. I made some
manually cleanups to remove blockquotes from things like llvm-nm. I also
patched up some eval-rst grid-tables manuallly.

This is a stacked PR based on #220096 , which will be a standalone
commit that
renames *.rst -> *.md before this PR lands for history preservation
purposes.
NAS-142768 / 27.0.0-BETA.1 / Check API key user roles through privilege API (#19556)
Directory services cache entries are not authoritative for privilege
determination. They carry no group membership, because populating it
while enumerating the domain would require a group lookup per account
and overload the domain controller, so user.query reports an empty roles
list for every directory services account. api_key.create read that list
and rejected every directory services user.
Add privilege.roles_for_user(), which goes directly through NSS and
evaluates the account's group membership the same way authentication
does, and use it in do_create().
That makes two gaps in extend() reachable. A directory services account
with no SID (plain LDAP) is stored by its synthesized user.query id,
which never matched the local-only by_id map, so the key read back as
revoked with "User does not exist" and was dropped from the PAM
configuration. Resolve those ids through user.get_user_obj() instead,
memoizing the lookup the way the SID branch already does.

[llvm][vfs] Assert RedirectingFileSystem has an external file system (#216887)
No part of `RedirectingFileSystem` actually supports a null
`ExternalFS`, so assert that it exists in the constructor.
[bazel] Use lld's Version.inc.in file (#220342)
Just in case this ever changes it will fail more obviously. This is the
same value cmake uses for the version so I think the TODO was outdated.
[clang][docs] Generate command line reference as Markdown
Update the Clang option documentation emitter to generate MyST Markdown
for the generated command-line reference page. I discovered and
preserved a complicated existing Sphinx program-name workaround for
option IDs that collide after punctuation normalization.
The only markup on Options.td is in the DocBrief fields, and those use
very little markup, so those were all migrated by the agent, not
rst2myst. I de-dented the multi-line DocBrief bodies, because
indentation has semantics in both markdown (list indentation) and reST.
0.1288% pixels differ in the rendered HTML page.

The extra tracking for direct virtual base classes appears not to be
needed.
[ELF] Don't emit dynamic relocations into .gcc_except_table with -z notext
The -z notext rule already treats .eh_frame as non-writable, so that a symbolic
relocation there is resolved at link time -- with a copy relocation where one is
needed -- rather than deferred to the loader. The in-tree rationale is that GNU
ld does not produce dynamic relocations in .eh_frame.
The same holds for .gcc_except_table, but it was not covered. Linking a non-PIE
executable whose LSDA type table uses DW_EH_PE_absptr entries naming typeinfos
from a shared library, with -z notext:

Extend the existing carve-out to .gcc_except_table, including the per-function
sections -ffunction-sections creates, so lld matches GNU ld and gold.
Revert "[Clang] Fix a number of issues involving expansion statements" (#220375)
Reverts llvm/llvm-project#217110
This caused a CI failure in one of the expansion statements tests; I’ll
revert this for now and investigate.
[KnownFPClass] Remove `propagateNonNan` `PreserveSign` parameter (#219841)
`void propagateNonNaN(const KnownFPClass &Src, bool PreserveSign =
false)`
Things work as you would expect if `PreserveSign` is `false`. But when
`PreserveSign` is `true`, it does not do what you would expect (I
thought it would copy the signbit of `NaN`). If `PreserveSign` is
`true`, it will copy `Src.SignBit` if and only if `Src` is never `NaN`,
which is counterintuitive. It also does not properly update
`KnownFPClasses`, and allows for potentially erroneous states to be
generated. Such as `fcNegZero` having a positive sign bit.
I have removed `void propagateNonNaN(const KnownFPClass &Src, bool
PreserveSign = false)` and replaced it with just `void
propagateNonNaN(const KnownFPClass &Src)`.

The insert range implementation copied overlapping chunks in the
wrong direction, corrupting file data on every server except Windows.
Several related issues in the same area are also addressed — stale
page cache and FS-Cache readback, an integer truncation on large
files, missing RLIMIT_FSIZE validation and missing sparse file
marking.
- Data corruption fixes in the O_TRUNC open path: one where i_size was
zeroed before the server confirmed the truncate and another where the
lack of locking allowed concurrent buffered writes to be silently
discarded

[AMDGPU] Expose addressable LDS size features to the frontend
Add the FeatureAddressableLocalMemorySize* subtarget features to
AMDGPUFrontendVisibleFeatures so TargetParser carries them in its
per-GPU feature bitset and clang emits them as target features.
A "gfxN-generic" target carries the worst case of the GPUs it covers,
which for a numeric feature is the smallest value: gfx9-4-generic keeps
the 64k size while covering gfx950's 160k. The generic validation in the
-gen-amdgpu-target-def backend rejected that, since it required every
frontend-visible feature of a generic to appear verbatim on each covered
GPU. Numeric features are now compared by value instead, and only an
increase is an error.

[SelectionDAG][NVPTX] Support cache hints on masked loads and stores (#215307)
Masked loads/stores support all the same cache hints. When splitting
masked loads/stores during legalization, I duplicate the hints. I think
this makes sense for the eviction hints, but not for prefetching. For
prefetching, it probably makes sense to only preserve the hint on the
first load.
For now, I duplicate the hints no matter what. If we want to support
selectively dropping hints during splitting, we will probably need a
target hook.
